'MNF' Game Attracts Largest Cable TV Audience

The recent 'Monday Night Football' match-up between the Packers and Vikings drew the largest cable TV audience ever.

ESPN estimates that more than 21.8 million people watched. It was also ESPN's highest rating in the network's 30-year history. The circus surrounding Brett Favre's match-up with his former team made it must-see TV ... both with football loyalists and casual viewers.

Disappointingly, the Packers lost ... let's hope for a better result in the rematch when the Vikings come to Lambeau Field on November 1st. Go Pack!

Those are huge numbers!

The endless variety of doctor...lawyer...and crime investigation shows still can't top the drama of a good game.
